Did you know the EDD has payroll tax courses online?
Currently, the EDD offers two online payroll tax courses, at no cost. The Employment Status Course teaches the basics about common law and statutory employment and describes the differences between employees and independent contractors and is available in English and Spanish. The How to Complete a Payroll Tax Deposit (DE 88 or DE 88ALL) course is offered as a mini-tutorial or a full course. For more information, visit the Web-Based Payroll Tax Seminars page.
