Customer Service Center Hours Reduced

Starting May 20, 2013, Unemployment Insurance customer service center hours were reduced to 8 a.m. – 12 noon due to a federal funding shortfall. The EDD urges our customers to use self-service options whenever possible, such as:

  • eApply4UI: Apply or re-open your claim online.
  • EDD Web-CertSM: Certify for benefits online.
  • EDD Tele-CertSM: Certify for benefits over the phone.
  • UI FAQs: Find answers to commonly asked questions.
  • Ask EDD: Find information about EDD programs and submit questions about your claim online.
