CBU Web-Based Training Introduction
What Is Web-Based Training?
Web-Based Training is designed to provide an alternative to classroom training. You can learn at your own pace through Internet access from your computer at your convenience. The Capacity Building Unit offers Web-Based training about the Workforce Investment Act in an interactive format. Eventually, you will be able to choose from a variety of topics related to WIA. The training is contained in modules so that you can focus on specific topics.
Since each module is self-contained, you don’t have to view them in any particular order. The modules are designed to be completed in about 30 minutes each. Every module includes a list of learning objectives so that you will know at the beginning of the module what information will be covered. By the time you complete the module, you will be provided information pertaining to the specific learning objectives.
Currently, we are launching the Web-Based training effort with a module on WIA performance measures, entitled, “Measure Up!” Before you view the module, we suggest you look at “How to do Web-Based Training.” When you are ready to begin, click on the “Measure Up!” link below, then click on the HELP button contained on the first page of the module.
