Customer Service Surveys

We are listening . . . every year we ask you, our customers, how we are doing in delivering our valuable services to you. At the Employment Development Department (EDD), we continuously seek ways to enhance our customer service and make access to our programs as easy as possible. With your customer feedback in mind, here are just some of the improvements we made recently:

  • Enhanced SDI Online to be more user-friendly for those filing for State Disability Insurance benefits by increasing the number of forms they can receive and submit electronically.
  • Added a new payment option for customers who file for State Disability Insurance benefits.
  • Created an Unemployment Insurance benefit calculator to provide customers an estimate of their weekly benefit amount.
  • Added a new online option to simplify the process of resolving overpayments on benefit claims.
  • Updated the CalJOBS Résumé Builder to simplify the process for job seekers, making it easier for them to update résumés and tailor them for different employers.

2018 Program Survey Highlights

The majority of respondents were completely or mostly satisfied with EDD services in 2018:
