The California Workforce Development Board, in collaboration with the Employment Development Department (EDD), is soliciting public comments from Local Workforce Development Boards and other interested parties regarding the proposed Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) waiver of a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) statutory and/or regulatory requirement:
“Waiver relating to the collection and reporting of performance-related data on all students participating in training programs listed on the ETPL.”
This waiver request was developed in accordance with WIOA Section 189(i)(3)(B) and the Code of Federal Regulations Section 679.620 and may be viewed as an attachment to this Information Notice.
The EDD will consider all public comments on the waiver received within 30 days of this Information Notice’s publication date. To submit comments, email WSBETPL@edd.ca.gov and include “Waiver Request Comments” in the subject line.
