Trade Adjustment Assistance

Learn what benefits and re-employment services are available through the federally funded, Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program. The TAA program provides help to workers who lose their jobs, or their hours and wages are reduced, as a result of increased imports. This program offers a variety of benefits and re-employment services including training, job search allowances, and relocation allowances to help eligible individuals return to work.

Note: Trade-affected workers must verify the petition number their company was certified under to determine the benefits they are eligible for.

Find all TAA program information from the US Department of Labor.
For workers certified under the 70,000, 80,000 to 83,000, or 90,000 series TAA petitions, refer to this Training Information Sheet, TAA Pre-Separation Training Information (DE 8324A) (PDF).
For workers certified under the 80,000 to 83,000 or 90,000 series TAA petitions, refer to the Reemployment Trade Adjustment Assistance (RTAA) Information Sheet (DE 8324B) (PDF).
For workers certified under the 80,000 to 83,000 or 90,000 series TAA petitions, complete and submit the Reemployment Trade Adjustment Assistance (RTAA) Individual Application (DE 8330A) (PDF).
The Health Coverage Tax Credit (HCTC) is a tax credit that pays 72.5 percent of qualified health insurance premiums. The HCTC program is administered by the IRS and is offered through the TAA program to eligible TAA participants.
