Each member volunteers a minimum of 16 hours per month with credit given for attending all weekly general and departmental meetings. Through the volunteer work, members share job leads, make contacts, and contribute to the direction of the group.

Standard dress code for EU members is business casual. Business dress is required for job fairs, recruitment sessions, and meetings with employers and companies as appropriate.

Our office is your office. Resources available include access to computers, Internet, fax, copiers, phones, and a reference library. This is a supportive and safe networking environment for professional-technical-managerial people who are unemployed or underemployed.

Membership requires completion of the workshop series, attendance at weekly general meetings and volunteer hours to one of three committees. As a member in good standing you will receive job listings, participate in focus groups and advanced workshops.

Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Call for the date. Our workshop hours are 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with a general meeting on Friday.

Members are required to volunteer four hours per week working on their assigned committee.

Various workshops are provided for members as they are scheduled and become available.

Second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Workshops on résumé writing and interviewing are provided for members on a monthly basis.

Weekly member meetings are Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon.

Job Search Strategies for Professionals, Résumé and Cover Letter, Interviewing and Salary Negotiation and Interview Dress Rehearsal workshops are offered to members.

The PRN office site includes access to computers, high speed Internet, fax, phones, and a reference library.

All new members must attend Orientations as part of the enrollment process.

Day one of six-day Workshop

The six-day workshop series is held monthly from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The comprehensive program includes Skills Assessment, Networking, Résumés, Cover/Marketing Letters, Interviewing/Video-Interviewing, and Negotiations.

Activities include weekly networking/success team meetings, speakers, special workshops, and events. Members volunteer four to six hours a week to the organization while pursuing their next career position.

Job Search Workshops are held Mondays – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and are held in the EU Job Club Room.

Learn interviewing techniques, networking, negotiating skills, and résumé and letter writing. This is a weeklong program. It always begins on a Monday and is offered approximately once every six weeks. The workshop program begins immediately after each orientation. Foundation Workshop (1st step)

35-40 workshops per month: résumés, interviewing, presenting accomplishments, networking, negotiations, etc. Calendar available with specifics.. Call for details.

Members must contribute four hrs/week (avg.) volunteer service to maintain program operations. Weekly meetings are also required, which include active networking. Besides workshops, we offer guest speakers, guest counselors/coaches, and access to an extensive alumni network.
