State Disability Insurance provides 60 to 70 percent wage-replacement benefits to eligible workers who need time off work. Employers can help employees reach their normal weekly salary while receiving Disability or Paid Family Leave benefits with wage integration.
When an employer has an integration policy, employees can use other leave in combination with their disability or family leave benefits to receive their full weekly salary.
To start or stop integrating wages with benefits, call 1-855-342-3645. For more information, visit Integration of Wages with Benefits.
We regularly leverage our partnership with the Small Business Employer Advisory Committee (SBEAC) to understand payroll tax reporting from the employer’s perspective.
The SBEAC provides small business employers and our Tax Branch the chance to better understand each other’s needs by addressing issues we both share. The SBEAC plays an important role on behalf of the small business employer community and provides feedback on various tax policy and procedural efforts.
For more information on the contributions that SBEAC has made, refer to our SBEAC information sheet (PDF).
