VETERANS EMPLOYMENT-RELATED ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SFP 18-19

On November 27, 2018, the Employment Development Department, in coordination with the California Workforce Development Board, on behalf of the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, announced the availability of up to $5 million of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funds in a Veterans’ Employment-Related Assistance Program Solicitation for Proposals (SFP). This SFP’s focus is to help unemployed and underemployed veterans with significant barriers to employment transition from military careers to rewarding civilian employment.


Proposals will be accepted from public and private non-profit organizations, private for-profit organizations, Local Workforce Areas, education and training providers, and faith-based/community based organizations. Individuals are not eligible to apply. See additional eligibility restrictions and requirements in the SFP. Proposal applications must be received no later than Thursday, December 27, 2018, before 3 p.m.

Disability Employment Accelerator SFP PY 2018-19

The Employment Development Department, in coordination with the California Workforce Development Board, on behalf of the Labor and Workforce Development Agency, announced the availability of up to $2 million of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Governor’s Discretionary funds in a Disability Employment Accelerator Solicitation for Proposals (SFP). The SFP’s focus is to increase significant work within a career pathway for people with disabilities, including college students who are close to fulfilling their degree requirements and/or college graduates.

Proposals will be accepted from Local Workforce Development Areas. Individuals are not eligible to apply. See additional eligibility restrictions and requirements in the SFP. Proposal applications must be received no later than 3 p.m. PT, Thursday, December 13, 2018. For more information please refer to the documents below.

Campesino de California Outreach Program Grant SFP PY 2018-19

On October 22, 2018, a grant was awarded under the Wagner-Peyser Act, Campesino de California Program PY 18-19 Solicitation for Proposals. Project descriptions, award amount, and contact information are listed below. Funding decisions are final.
